The Hi-VARC (High Voltage AC Resistive Current) test set has been developed to verify the electrical integrity of gapless MOV lightning arresters and polymer insulators on site or at maintenance facilities. The test set provides rapid, automatic evaluation of MOV arresters and polymer insulators using AC voltages up to 132kV.
